These are 4 girls who worked for Bami Kwa on the Pasar Malam Besar in The Hague. The Pasar Malam Besar (PMB) was held for the 50th time this year. It was started to be a place where Dutch people evicted from Indonesia, who were born and raised there, could meet and enjoy each others company, be merry enjoy their music and the delicious indonesian food. It was started by Tjalie Robinson, a writer from the Dutch East Indies. Bami Kwa is one of the foodstands that were there almost from the start. It has one of the best recepies for Babi Panggang.
This is a painter, Hetty Ansing, whom I also meet every year at the Pasar Malam Besar and she paints the most beautiful watercolors of Indonesia.
